Since my childhood I regularly return to this idyllic place of the Gorges du Tarn. In the middle of this wonderful canyon, château de la Caze, on the banks of the Tarn. The setting of this hotel-restaurant is quite exceptional, an environment where you are transported back in time, immersed in the Middle Ages, of course equipped with all modern comforts!

 

Since the owner/operator has already changed several times, it is very complicated to give an opinion about the current quality and service that is provided. However, it remains a unique base for exploring the surroundings of the Gorges du Tarn, Gorges de la Jonte et causses.

 

An alternative is the Château d'Ayres in Meyrueis
